We develop and market ready to use optical devices for energy and data transmission.
Maximally miniaturised systems - from sensor to software.
... AND WE'RE HIRING!
LUMILOOP GmbH is a spin-off supported by the Dresden University of Technology and funded by the "Exist Research Transfer" program of the German Ministry of Economics and Energy.
The word LUMILOOP consists of lumen, the unit of luminous flux, and the patented closed loop power control.
LUMILOOP develops and markets ready to use optically powered systems: from the sensor through the optical power and data transfer to the software - all from a single source.
The founding team consists of two interdisciplinary engineers Eike Suthau, Samuel Hildebrandt and the business economist Lars Wolter.
Dipl.-Ing. Eike Suthau is the CTO of the LUMILOOP team. He is an experienced advanced mixed-signal designer (analog and digital) with the responsibility for System design, ASIC development and application software.
Dipl.-Ing. Samuel Hildebrandt is a specialist for optical packaging and interconnection technology, high reliability electronics and process development. In company he develops efficient production technologies and coordinates the prototyping and serial production.
