Competencies & Philosophy
LUMILOOP’s key competence is the optical supply of sensor systems using Lasers in combination with a proprietary packaging technology and power regulation method. LUMILOOP combines this Power-over-Fiber (PoF) technology with state-of-the-art low power electronics to design and manufacture high performance electronic measurement devices which can be applied in the field of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) as well as other RF applications.
By combining LUMILOOP’s E-field probes and RF power meters users can speed-up EMC chamber validation by a factor of more than 100 and thereby reduce down-time significantly. LUMILOOP’s products can also be used to characterize and validate reverberation chambers at high speed.
All of LUMILOOP’s products are defined by software to a large extend. Continual software updates for LSProbe and LSPM are provided regularly, improving performance and adding new features.
LUMILOOP provides long-term service and support for all products.
Mile stones
2023
LSPM 1.1 | LSPM 2.1
The technology of the optically powered high-speed electric field probes was merged with the know-how of the high-speed RF power meters.
In 2023, the world’s first optically powered RF power meter was introduced in two different models, each with different frequency ranges.
The LSPM 1.1 and LSPM 2.1 enhance measurements in EMC labs.
LUMILOOP’s quality management system has been certified according to ISO 9001:2015.
2022
LSPM 2.0
LUMILOOP developed a frequecy extension to the RF power meter and introduced the LSPM 2.0 to the market.
2021
LSProbe 2.0
LUMILOOP introduced the LSProbe 2.0, an E-field probe with a frequency range up to 18 GHz.
The LSProbe 2.0 features six monopole antennas for improved isotropy.
2018
LSPM 1.0
In 2018 the high speed RF power meter LSPM 1.0 has been introduced to complement the LSProbe 1.2.
2016
First Product
LUMILOOP introduces its first product, the high-speed, laser-powered electric field probe LSProbe 1.2. The product offers unrivaled measurement speed, including support for waveform recording, frequency sweeps, and statistical analysis.
2015
